After some careful nurturing (and content entry) by the team at CICASP, the new CICASP website has been launched into the wild.

The CICASP site is rather special, as we worked especially hard with Dr. Andrew MacIntosh, to pack in all the functionality, and usability needed to bring CICASP to the web, and enable the CICASP team to make the research at Kyoto University's Primate Research Institute available.
As part of the site CICASP are producing their own podcasts which can be played on the site, as well shortly from iTunes. News and podcasts on site are automatically pushed out to their Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter presence, as well as also being able to show youtube videos from the CICASP youtube channel. Pretty much all content on the site can be promoted as featured to the front page as well as a special 'featured' type of post just for front page information... all in a pretty carousel.
The Faculty profiles have various extra sections, depending on what content is entered (galleries, contact forms), there's a research map of CICASP around the world, and actually we ended up consuming the entirety of PRI's other departments and their faculty into the site.
All this easily managed by the CICASP team... as you'll see by the content being produced.

CICASP is the proxy for international collaboration with The Primate Research Institute, and so are the conduit for PRI's research and information in English to the world. Conversely CICASP also manages/assists all academics collaborating or studying at PRI and so the site not only has to provide their own information and be engaging but allow visitors the access the information regarding PRI to be able to apply through CICASP.
